Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on 20 July 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position, Fisher is responsible for covering everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space businesses and the advent space tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In addition to covering two presidential impeachment cases as well as the 2020 Presidential Campaign as well as both administrations' efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus Kristin also covered a variety of other things. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter before joining CBS in the year 2015. Using her skills behind the camera, Kristin founded Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for clients of corporate nature, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin has earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she obtained from Boston University. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband, and their three-year old daughter.
